The Variant treats audience to outstanding acoustic preformance
Last Saturday local band The Variant performed an acoustic show at the downtown photography studio of Daniel Shippey with an opening from Hello Danger, a pop band from Jacksonville. Everyone felt at home at the quaint studio as coffee was served and The Variant covered classics such as "Landslide" along with six of their own original songs.

Our generation has been spoon-fed a picture of the famous Sherlock Holmes that usually involves the meticulous detective sucking at a pipe and speaking in a boring, long-winded manner about how someone pulled off a seemingly perfect murder. You can kiss that image goodbye, thanks to the recent film adaptation, "Sherlock Holmes.

Darksiders on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, combines ideas from both God of War and the Legend of Zelda franchises, while making them feel fresh and new. Are puzzle dungeons apocalypse proof? The game starts of smack in the middle of Armageddon with you, as the Horseman War leading the way.
