Cut spells out loss of $2.3 million

ABAC President David Bridges has just submitted a budget reallocation outline that, if enacted, will eliminate many vital aspects which make the campus appealing to students and faculty.
And this is "an other than worse-case scenario," Bridges said.
This past Wednesday, the Georgia Higher Education Committee, ordered colleges to propose plans to slash another 17 percent in addition to a 15 percent proposed cut already forwarded by the Governor's Office for the 2011 fiscal year which begins on July 1, 2010.

Students can take a breath of relief knowing their stallion email boxes will be less cluttered.
The Student Government Association (SGA) has recently passed a legislation limiting the amount of emails sent out by clubs and other organizations.
According to Vice President of Student Affairs Gail Dillard, several students complained about their email boxes becoming packed with meeting announcements for clubs they did not belong to.

An oil painting done by the famous David Saintus will be auctioned at the Library on March 1. The painting 2'x2 1/2', and is one of Saintus' first paintings.

Recently, the Greek Life Task Force revealed that ABAC will be entertaining the possibility of adding Greek sororities and fraternities to campus life.
There are many opposing viewpoints regarding this from the student body. Some students, such as Agricultural Communications major Zebb Luster are avid supporters of the addition of these organizations to our campus.
